Let's Play Pokémon FireRed

And heere we go with another one of my attempts to rip off of FE's great and original ideas that never get finished and ruin them with my own ineptness towards humiliarity.

This time, we'll be doing that unecessary remake of the original classic, Pokémon FireRed Version.



For those of you living under a rock, FireRed is mostly an obvious remake/reboot of the original game, Pokémon Red, and was released alongside LeafGreen, a remake of Blue that was released outside of Japan but was secretly Green in disguise for non-Japanese countries. Or something like that. I dunno. Right, anyway, it consists of pretty much all the original stuff plus most of the features that were introduced alongside Generations II and III, including the addition of the new Pokémon, moves, items, and the Sevii Islands. Also, events will lead to encounters with the likes of Lugia, Ho-oh, and Deoxys.

So, I'm going to need to know the following:

Male or Female?
Name?
Rival's Name?
Starter: Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur?
Starter Nickname?

Dunno about the rival, but let's go with a Charmander named Mr. Fluffles (a name that will only have full impact when he's a Charizard, of course).

It's not an unnecessary remake, it was needed so that people could catch the first-gen Mons and send them to their 4th-gen games so they could have all the mons on a single cartridge (that is, when HG/SS finally come out and complete the cycle).

Yes, I decided to have fun and tweaked the game a bit. Now you guys have to choose between Marill, Mankey, and Aipom. Don't forget those nicknames!

Also, the screenshots are a bit blurry because I'm using VBA's video recorder, and taking the screenshots with Vegas. I didn't expect such blurriness, and maybe I'll figure out how to fix that later.
