I know that there is a similar thread, but I was just wondering,
What's your absolute favourite game/game series?
Mine at the moment are the Castlevania games.
Edit: Also Rock Band but the slot where you put the peripherals has broken, so I can't play it for now.

Goldeneye / Perfect Dark. They're essentially the same series IMO. Way better than yer Castlevania pish.

I'm a fan of games with not many sequels/story arcs. Basically things with an epic or quirky story. I'm getting into the HL games. Portal was fun. Guilty Gear STILL NEEDS TO BE CONCLUDED BUT.... IT'S NOT GOING TO AS FAR AS I KNOW.
Also in terms of multiplayer fun, TF2 and L4D/2.
The question is actually pretty difficult. I'm not really sure what's my favourite.

Remember the weird titles back on the EZBoard, you people who were around then? Yeah. That was from there. Seriously.
This is why I can't review that game, I would wind up looking like the GameFAQs kids and their treatment of anyone that has ever stood within thirty metres of either Link or Sephiroth.

My favorite series is the Sonic series. Sure, the later games weren't that good and were full of gimmicks, but I heard they're planning on releasing a new game that will make up for all the bad ones and please the entire fanbase!
God, that's hard to say with a straight face.
