My very first game was Bomberman. Surprising, in my childhood, I never wanted to blow anything up.
A bit tempting though. *evil laugh*

I also played this game as a child, although this console came into granny's house much later than the Mega Drive.

VECTORMAN BITCHES
Best damn graphics/music/gameplay on the Genesis. Hands down. Well, besides the lack of a save file. *shudder*

First vidya I played was GoldenEye 64. Thus, I had a better childhood than the lot of you and your pitiful Sonic vidya. That must've been the first FPS I ever played. I played it at someone's house at a New Year's Eve party for the year 2000. Killed someone with a slap and took all their weapons yeaaaaaah.

Most likely my first FPS too.
I much favour Perfect Dark now, though.

While I will not contest that Gran Turismo was a beast game, GoldenEye was better. 'sides, I was playing vidya before it was released. I can remember always getting Gran Turismo and Grand Theft Auto mixed up.
Also, yeah, GE and PD are essentially on the same level for me. PD has more opportunities for hilarity, but in GoldenEye, you are f*cking James Bond. I prefer to think of them as essentially the same game.

Yeah I think you missed the implied point that I had no childhood.

No wait - my first game may have been James Discovers Math, but we're not going to count that.
