Besides, I imagine that they'll include most of the extra features (being able to choose a female character, animations, etc.) from Crystal and the later games into SoulSilver/HeartGold.

Silver = Best Pokemon game ever. Everything that came after it sucked.

Yes, this entirely. Well, actually I like Diamond. I'm just against Ruby/Sapphire after my game save went poof.
