I'm mixed with Glee. One half of me hates when they cover songs like "It's my Life" in an extremely campy N*Sync style, completely ruining the original.
On the other hand, most of the characters are hot as hell, some of them are surprisingly good singers, and Idina Menzel is in it.
Still, the only reason they broke this record was by leeching off the success of others. They're like the TV Show equivalent of Cascada.

I probably wouldn't hate auto-tune so much, if so many artists didn't abuse it, and actually get more popurarity than the bands and artists who work for it. I mean, if I were an artist who got beaten by another artist, abusing auto-tune, in all honesty, I would probably find them, and beat them over the head with it. |

As a guy who was in a choir that would occasionally perform pop covers, their "choir" singing irks me. We were taught to pronounce words in a specific proper way and not sing "poppy", because it keeps the choir from sounding constant. But they don't follow any of that. We would get chewed out if we sang a song like the cast of Glee. Also, the one episode I saw had them do "mashups", but all they did was change songs halfway through. The "choir" combined with the stupid high school drama put me off the series for good. |
