Dunno if this belongs on the General Discussion, but I just went on my home page on MSN, and it has a huge thing saying that Glee has now got more chart-toppers than the years of The Beatles. My reaction was simple...
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-
Which brings me to ask why in the hell that the show that automatically make the watcher die of diabetes, beat the most known band?

... I join you on this one.
Regardless of what they say, The Beatles will always be at the top for me. :/
God damn it, Glee. Stop making me want to hate you.

Regardless of what they say, The Beatles will always be at the top for me. :/ This. [rant]What really p*sses me off is that The Beatles worked blood and tear to write their songs, so that people have something to express and relate to, and make people happy, but now money whores such as Glee, are trying to ruin that for everyone by taking classic and epic songs, and covering them, with the mere push of a button, and just like that, I can't listen to the original anymore after that, because of stupid associations. I just think that a world with that type of music becoming "number 1" all the time, is a world I don't wanna live in.[/rant]

Glee?
Considering that everyone knows who the Beatles are, and I don't know who the hell or what the hell Glee is/are, says it all.
See, even the UNCULTURED (like myself) know The Beatles. And The Beatles are better than sex.

Glee sucks more than a dyson.
I'm sick of them. (Living in an area full of chavs does that) Also, they advertise Glee everytime at the beginning of Nostalgia Ctitic episodes.
I agree with everyone here, I died a little.

Glee's a well known show covering well known songs. They might have had to rewrite them for a choral arrangement, but they didn't need to put as much time and effort in as The Beatles who actually had to create the songs in the first place. So Glee can churn out tons of hit songs every season while The Beatles had to spend months or years on each album making original content, not knowing if anyone would like whatever new direction they decided to take musically.

Also, they advertise Glee everytime at the beginning of Nostalgia Ctitic episodes. Let me help you with that.Glee is not that bad. Sure, some covers are crap, while others are epic (see their version of Poker Face. Just wow.) But it's not like that they-- wait... they WHAT!? Welcome to the Age of the Auto-Tune. Wait, what? Man, if you guys give me proof that they use auto-tune it would be very sad news for me... and I'd end up starting to hate Glee.
