Not counting The Gregory Brothers, Auto-Tune removes any effort made when singing. So a morbidly obese drunk lady singing something horrible with little to no effort can be made into a freaking catchy tune. Of course, this was an unintentional use of Auto-Tune, but when it's intentional and used when you want to use a lot less effort, that is 100% bullcrap. |

Yeah, T-Pain's pretty terrible. Even older bands that used autotune back before it was in vogue, like, say, Eiffel 65, sound awful to me.
