Yeah, hi and all that. I've been off working and having a social life and things.
1) I've emailed Dreadsy a couple of times about SV, Maybe it's time to see if I still have an SSMB account and post an ad to the monocellular lifeforms that inhabit that place. Also I'm not going to vanity-update the Retro wiki, but I'm not going to stop anyone who wants to.
2) Comment/rate? No. Not gonna happen. Fuel for dramatic post readings is going to stay solidly on the boards.
3) More idiots: ....I never intended this to be the Let's All Point And Laugh Forum. I could let in more people, the whole registtation approval thing was only put in after someone decided to bandodge and post inappropriate stuff, but I'm not specifically going to say "what this place needs is more morons to hate".
4) dA group.... now that we could do.

2) Main drive behind that idea was what seems to be a lack of interest/motivation/time/vegemite behind keeping the site alive as of late. Hence the self-submissions. Are you honestly still going to keep this site going? Not trying to sound like a dick, just too lazy to be polite right now.

2) I am! I've been updating when I can, it's just, there's not a lot of content. Remember also that I don't do An Update Post for every update anymore. I think to alleviate the look of inactivity on the main page I need to do more update posts, or failing content to do so at least make the site look more active by doing editorial posts and the like.

I understand your point about social media, but I also understand that social media is full of stupid people. And playing yard-duty teacher to stupid people's idiot bickering is I promise you NOT a motivator to me

I don't think there's really going to be an influx of spammers/trolls whatever with application approval removed. And on the off-chance we do get a spammer, we ban them. Simple.

What we need is mandatory bans. At the end of the week, someone has to be banned for a week, probably whoever was the biggest d*ck in that week. Hopefully, it'll encourage people not to like an ass. And even if that fails, it'll still be hilarious.
