Bumping this KIPPERS, I've found out some more stuff.

On August 3, 2010, Masuda announced on his blog that the Black and White game versions will initially only contain brand new Pokémon to evoke a feeling of it being a brand new game, like when the original Pokémon games were first released.

For example, Pikachu was introduced in Red and Green, and was obtainable in Blue, Yellow, and all subsequent main series games; however, Pikachu will not be obtainable in Black and White from the start of the game.

Bearing in mind that most of the Pokemon look like absolute crap so far, this sounds like the biggest mistake they could ever make. I hope to god they were bluffing. I'm willing to resort to AR if I have to.

Three pants-looking pokémon does not equal pants gen. I'll agree those ones are possibily inspired by the holocaust, but the rest of the designs I've seen are looking to be a step up from fourth gen.

Also, yes. The loss of Magikarp is a deep wound to me, as every game and remake since 2nd gen, I've had a motherf*cking Gyarados. It is not a trend I will break willingly. I'd trade in an egg but that mad fanny got sentanced the other day for egg smuggling and I'm pure para about that.

I for one am looking forward to B/W. My problem is, which one do I buy? Zekrom is awesome, but Black just looks cooler overall.

Anyone complaining about the new designs should recall that most of the first gen was really unoriginal.
Besides, nothing can be as horrible as Probopass.
