A hoax by Trinity

Okay so I got bored and decided I hadn't done anything like this in a while. Decided to do a tech hoax.


Four (five?) things wrong of varying obviousness. Loading up your gameboy to check is cheating.

My main reason for lack of hoaxes in the last two years has been a complete lack of ideas, so if anybody has any, feel free to PM me or tell me here - I'll do them when I feel like it. I'm confident in my spriting ability, and not so confident in my background-editing ability (but still OK, or was last time I checked).

Bits that have been guessed (this forum really needs spoiler tags...)
1. Green chao - Miles
2. Earthy patch missing - Monty (but he cheated)
3. Colours of meters switched - Monty (see above)
4. GBAs switched - Monty (see above the above, because double-redirects break the integrity of the wiki somehow)
5. Bushes in top-right should not be there - Miles

Green chao is correct. I took the pallete from one of the eggs you can buy, but wasn't sure if it shows up on the GBA screen because I've never hatched one into the GBA (only onto the gamecube).

Bush under the GBAs is incorrect.

And my chao on that gamesave is actually called Ebil, because it keeps saying things like "Ah, the delightful screaming of souls!".

It must be the bush NEXT to the GBAs... if not that one, then I'm sure it's at least one of teh bushes that has a problem.

And I knew Ebil had to be evil somehow.

As many different colored jewel eggs as I bought in that garden, I never actually hatched them in it... just transferred them to SA2B and raised 'em. I put a Shadow chao (normal) in the Tiny Chao Garden once and his palette was all screwy, so maybe that green one wouldn't appear that way... I dunno.

I've actually just spotted a couple of pixels that might give some of it away, so I'll go fix them now. It's still not the bushes themselves, though their presence may be that fifth point that I wasn't sure about.

Not only should that bush at the top right not be there, the brown patch that's normally there isn't.

Also, the two small GBAs have switched places, and the meters are the wrong colors (the ones that have red in them should be blue and vice-versa).

Monty has better visual memory than the other two put together. That, or he cheated.

But only becuase it would bug me all day if I didn't find out the answer.

Any type of hoaxes? Or are you looking for a specific type, e.g. techies?

I only own the software for Sonic Advance 1, 2 and 3. Some of my gamesaves aren't complete but I can force Tené into completing them for me and emailing me the finished files, I'm sure.

That's my only limitation.

I think saying ideas for tech hoaxes would be pretty dumb. I mean you'd be pointing out the answer when doing so. =P
