God-dammit, both of my parents and my schools sciences and design departments have that model of laptop. It's taking over the WORLD. That said, it works for them, but they're not used for anything particularly strenuous. You forgot how arseholeish my school ISP is! I can't even GET on SVMB in school. There's a filter category for "Journals and blogs" and even "Humour".. For some reason SVMB is filtered under "Criminal skills" and "Pornography". |

You forgot how arseholeish my school ISP is! I can't even GET on SVMB in school. There's a filter category for "Journals and blogs" and even "Humour".. For some reason SVMB is filtered under "Criminal skills" and "Pornography". I can't get on SVMB during the day, but I'm at boarding school. They have to be a little more lenient with what they block during the evening. Streaming Media, Games, Evening Availability - available after 18:30 Everything else - blocked all day SV falls into "games". dA falls under Evening Availability. Then there's the small issue of what's RM filtering and what's internal school filtering which is another kettle of fish. IT'S COMPLICATED. And I'll explain it if it needs explaining but I really, really think you have better things to be doing with your time than reading about my marginally-less-than-draconian school blocking policy. Also guys why does Firefox keep locking up at random times? It's, like, every 1 minute 30 seconds for 15 seconds. |

So my new graphics card is ridiculous and all that, but why does it do this  Whenever I run something with DirectX? That's Gens32 Surreal on any render that isn't openGL-based. It used to do something similar in Dolphin and Camtasia, but I just checked (rebooted) and now it...doesn't. It only does the weird distortion in Gens now o.o |

Aren't they all just installed to your Firefox folder? If that's the case, you can just zip the entire folder and place it wherever you want. Just checked. Nope. Because this is a separate account that has no Admin rights, it supposedly saves it in documents and settings... ...ad they're not there. Huh. |
