Welcome to my new LP! In this thread, eight of you will be committing unthinkable acts of virtual madness living a perfectly normal life, and the rest of us will be laughing at you admiring your wonderful lives. Aren't you glad I thought of this?

Let's go over the technical aspects first. I have two expansion packs for The Sims 2: Nightlife (which adds, among other things, cars, vampires and the Chemistry system, which added a few new factors to the vanilla attraction system) and Seasons (which adds, well, mainly seasons). My game is properly patched and protected by a few bugfixes from MATY, which are pretty much essential if you want to prevent your game from turning into a Big Fiery Ball Visible From Space. I'll be letting your simselves run on free will most of the time, except when my intervention is either absolutely necessary or, well... when the situation simply calls for it. I'll also be placing the house on a pre-inhabited neighbourhood of mine, just to actually give you someone else to interact with.

Here are a few things about the Create-a-Sim screens that some of you might not be aware of:



This is where you choose your name, gender, age, skin colour (the asterisk gives you downloadable skintones to choose from, but we won't be using that here) and body type (normal and pregnant fat).



The face builder is quite complete. You can choose from the hair colours you see there on the top; as for the eyes, you can choose to have brown, green, grey, light blue or dark blue eyes.

...Also, take a look at those silly hats. Teehee.



Then, you can spice up your Sims with facial hair, make-up and accessories.



And this is where you choose your aspiration, personality and turn-ons/turn-offs. Allow me to go into more detail about...

Aspirations:

Pleasure: Pleasure Sims are lazy bastards who want to go downtown, walk around the house on their pyjamas, buy toys (no, seriously) and jump on the sofa all the time. They probably didn't have a proper childhood.

Family: These guys are normal. Well, I mean, if you consider wanting to have 10 kids and bazillions of grandchildren normal.

Romance: Lust would be a more appropriate name. These Sims want to bang everyone in the neighbourhood. EVERYONE.

Knowledge: Knowledge Sims want, well... knowledge. At any cost. These are the kind of people who think being abducted by aliens or playing rock-paper-scissors with Death would be fun.

Fortune: They just want to buy stuff and have lots of money. They represent humanity as a whole, as our dear friend SonicLover would say.

Popularity: These guys just want friends. Lots and lots of friends. They're a toned down version of the Romance Sim, I suppose.


Personality:

It should be fairly self-explanatory. You have 25 points to distribute across those five traits.


Turn Ons & Offs:

You get two turn ons and one turn off. They will play an important part in the previously mentioned Chemistry system. Here is a list of available kinks:
