The problem isn't your comics. The problem is it's not funny. Like, at all.
Try a different type of comic. Action comics are easy to pull off. >.>

Not all comics/graphic novels have to be funny. Take Game Stew, for example: While the odd smidge of humour can be found here and there, it's designed to tell a story, and never just lapses into randomness. There are plenty of other comics here I could have used as an example, (SCFH, Usher II, etc.) but mine is the only one I think Boyue actually reads.
But you with your 6-year-old sense of humour probably wouldn't be able to do that.

tinyurl.com/5oe337Read from this issue ALL the way to the latest one (which was updated today). I suggest taking a day or two out of your schedule for this; it took me roughly a full day to get uptodate when ~#450 came out (Yes, you heard me right; it's on #610 as of this post), and I'm a relatively fast reader. I'm not saying you should mirror or copy it; but this should help inspire you for a more serious storyline. (Hell, I believe it helped inspire SCFH)

My other inspiration was Jeno's Hand-Drawn Madness which inspired the dictator Max Füchs. Speaking of SCFH, I've been doing some research on Soviet history post-WWII for historical accuracy and dating etc. Found some interesting stuff...hmm. Might see if I can work on the next issue tonight. I don't think I'll need to make many more sprites.

There are plenty of other comics here I could have used as an example, (SCFH, Usher II, etc.)... Though, Usher II brings up an idea. I got the basic plot from a short story by Bradbury. So, you could use a well known short story from a Sci Fi/Fantasy/Action writer. You're a decent spriter, and already having a storyline makes it easier to focus on pacing and the writing of the script, which is really important.

Okay, I'm trying to restart it. If you don't like it, then why do you read it? Oh, and some of you may go "But I was giving really contructive critism!" and all your comment said was "This comic sucks!" So read this one well and clear. I'm not trying to flame anyone, just expressing my opinion. Please remember that I haven't made the comic in a while, so I'm going to make Sonic normal. "OMG!!! THAT'S A CLICHE! DUR!" Oh, and I know this isn't as funny as most of you hope. I know it's not funny.

If you don't like it, then why do you read it? Then why do you post it? EDIT: Size tags removed. It's just as inane in screen-filling font as it is normal size. If you're going to post your comic, don't be stubborn and keep doing something wrong out of spite without attempting to improve yourself. The last person to do that was TimberWolf. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM. =D If you're going to post your comic, then don't tell us not to comment on it or yell at us for doing so. The last person to do that was also TimberWolf. Is the message sinking in?

I just realized that in the second to most recent comic, it looks like Ami is using her vagina to scooch across the pavement.
As for the most recent comic...if you're doing a humor comic, it KINDA helps if it's funny. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true.

I'm not yelling. I just think it's unfair the way some people are treating this. And I am trying to improve. It's just harder because I don't have a fancy software like photoshop.
Oh, and I'm trying to make it funnier, that was kind of a filler.

Also, owning Photoshop does not give you comedic powers.

Yeah. But you got to admit, he was more timid than SuperSonicSDJS and some of the other n00bs we get.
