Hey peoples. NEW PIC. I must re-emphasize my absolute NEED for a SA:DX or SA2:B HUD. Preferably before next cut-off day. (I'd rip one myself, but my SA:DX game has a resolution problem. My laptop is a widescreen. SA:DX is not widescreen compatible. I've tried running it in windowed mode, but no matter what I tell it to do, it's always a badly stretched "widescreen".)Also. I have a request. If anyone here has 3D Studio Max, PM me. I have a idea, but I need something from a file that Blender can't open... EDIT: On a completely unrelated note, my NiGHTS friend code is 5198-1285-6543.

Well, I've got this GREAT animation idea in the works, but I need three things... 1. Portal sound effects (specifically, the firing of the gun and the opening of a portal) 2. A free and decent movie creation program (I saw a free Windows Movie Maker something or other, but it currently seems that I'll have to assemble everything with Game Maker.) 3. A desktop recorder that can record from Game Maker without seriously ninjaing up the framerate. (Only if I can find a good movie maker) So all I have in the way of new pics is this. *ROBO used FEAR!* I'm scared. Are you scared? Because I'm scared. You know... That image gives me an idea of what I'll do for my NEXT animation.

Hmm... I'll have to add that to my list of "Things I have accomplished": - Freak Out Cheesy Anyways.... ANIMATION! www.megaupload.com/?d=8BDYX95VA movie I made. Due to... complications (lack of good movie creation software, lack of good desktop recorder), this entire movie was put together in Game Maker. Therefore, it is an EXE file. I was unable to add sounds to the 3D portions of the movie due to the fact that Game Maker games pause while playing movie files. Ah well. Despite those things, I'm happy with the way it turned out. For now.

(lack of good movie creation software, lack of good desktop recorder) You could try getting your hands on Cinema 4D. I'm pretty sure you can import models into it from just about anything. Its pretty easy to get ahold of and there's plenty of pirated serials around. (if I remember correctly, the demo wasn't too restricting, might be enough) If that doesn't work you could use FRAPS to record, but if thats giving you a bad frame rate you probably won't be able to run Cinema 4D either.

New pic! (ImageShack-ed, since I'm not patient enough for Photobucket site maintenance)X - Tunnel Theme for the win. (See Smash Bros Brawl thread for said link) On another note, anyone around here still play Sonic Robo Blast 2? I just got it recently. It's awesome.

The only problem I've ever had with SRB2 is when the JTE version of it refused to start. And how else are they going to balance out Tails? NEW PIC. This came from an idea combined with playing with environment mapping. I think I muffed up on the sleeves. I got the wings by mapping a flat butterfly picture onto a flat plane, adding another plane, dividing it into sections, and cutting away all the parts that weren't above part of the wing. Then I messed with the internal parts of the shape, and ran a cruddy Poly-reducer script on it. Finally, I used the random selection option to arrange the colors.

Ooh, pretty.
You'll have to put up a tutorial for this stuff so I can duplicate it in 3dsmax. Maybe.
