well, whilst i dont aproove of hacks, it IS a virus carrier, according to kcan. Eco, i'm having difficulty judging this. you didnt warn anyone, and you knew kcan would go for it. you, dear sir, are in violation of two unwritten laws.

And you set up Kcan to get a virus. THAT dear sir, is a big violation. i'm not going to delete this, cus im going to investigate this via another acoKIPPER.

Hmm. Just searching on this, I haven't seen this program mentioned in relation to a "delete everything"-type virus. However, one forum I clicked on when I googled GBbot someone detected the MANIFEST trojan therein. Note, this was not from the same link as Eco just provided, though. (I do note, however, that GBBot seems to not be available from the link Eco gave anymore).
So. It's a bit hard to decide what's going on. All I can say is this - I've had it with these endless arguments between you two. Eco, if I find out that you have indeed been using my Message Board to pass viruses out to my members, you will be BANNED from this message board. Kcan, if I find out you're making this all up and you're trying to get Eco into trouble, likewise.
Now, don't want any of that to happen? Then whoever is screwing around here, OWN UP NOW and you will not be banned, merely One Strike. You can own up to me privately by PM or publicly in this topic.
You have until 10 p.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time on September 3 to own up.

Well then, if only one of the files on their site was infected, it's possible they didn't know it was - and therefore, that Eco didn't know it was. However, it's still possible that they knew that one file was and put two non-infected files up to allay suspicion. Hmm. Interesting.

Well, its hard to judge ecos intentions on this. Best case scenario: He simply wanted to share something he found. Worst Case: He wanted to get kcan to get the virus and wipe out his system. The first one is just wreckless endangerment, but the second one is intentional system destruction.  |

Objection! *shot* The 'virus' I happened to come along with is a keylog, which pretty much means it's... *ahem* ... a hacking tool. Seeing how this is a hack of gunbound, there is no virus really. Now, If what kcan is saying is _true_, it's not eco's fault at all. This hacking tool is actually a legit. hack and it isn't virus ridden at all. Something else must have been screwing around with kcans computer. And, kcan, you can get _tons_ of free antivirus programs. I recommend Avast Antivirus. You can get it at: www.avast.com/ . Huzzah. Hack works. I have a over-reactive virus-scanner. But... I don't have gunbound. I'll go get it and try myself.
EDIT: Half an hour to download GunBound... ^^" The hack works, but if you have a _good_ anti-virus, it'll think it's a virus, but it isn't.

well I got the backdoor that kcan got. luckily it wa stored in my temporary internet files (the kind you can DELTE!) and i simply manualy wiped it out. So, ladies and gents, if ya want to cheat, get a good anti virus, like avast, as good ol lil dude has provided. Also, which one did you try and how did you get it to work? EDIT: i found a safe alternate link for you all www.blizzhackers.com/viewtopic.php?p=1462680 this is just for gunbot. i'll try to find richbound for you also. PS: cansomeone tell me how exactly gunbot works? i'm wondering exactly how it works. if it works against someone and kills them, i'm in no mood to do that. |
