Hi there. I've been lurking for a while, and now I've finally bitten the bullet and decided to post.
My name is Brylcreem, and I'm a student currently studying at a university in the north of England. I've been a Sonic fan for as long as I can remember, from the Megadrive originals - which I hold as the pinnacles of the series - right up to the present day. I am a regular PC gamer as well, and I particularly enjoy TF2 and Minecraft.
I look forward to joining your community!
EDIT: Typo.

The new games can't compare so much - blame a thick layer of nostalgia - but I enjoyed Colours and Generations.

Hello newcomer! Whilst "community" might be a slightly generous use of the term in this case, welcome to it anyway. So, you say you're at university. Do you study anything fun? which I hold as the pinnacles of the series Oh, you're one of those people Oh, you're one of those people.

Holy crap a new person? Well then, welcome aboard! I am nominally the person in charge of this little shindig, so if you try to keep any necessary violence to tiled areas where it can be mopped up after easily, I am sure we shall get along famously. Also I'm pretty sure the description " those people " is limited to the people who respond to the release of any new Sonic game that isn't Sonic CD 2 as if Sonic Team had run over their dog.

I feel if they released a Sonic CD 2, to the same effect as Sonic 4, now those people would act as though Sonic Team really had ran over their dog.

Imagine Sonic CD 2 with a boost mechanic, Shadow and Silver, and, of course, green-eyed Sonic.
A portion of the internet breaks out in a bloody riot. You know. On youtube comments.
... So now that I think of it, nothing really changes.

I feel if they released a Sonic CD 2, to the same effect as Sonic 4, now those people would act as though Sonic Team really had ran over their dog. But Sonic 4 WAS terrible. Also, holy cow, a new person! It's been a long time since we had one of those. We were beginning to think we'd never get any more. I may have to write an entire new book in the saga for this one.
