Rumours of the site's death...
...were pretty accurate actually.
See, SV as a site kinda fell into the same trap that SVMB managed to avoid, which was: Don't Bother Having Sections Unless You're Going To Regularly Update To Them. It meant more graphics work every re-design, more pages to keep track of, more things on the to-do list before any update felt finished. So yeah, I couldn't do that.

But the hosting is once again paid and now I'm going to blog here. Being me, and being SV, this will mostly be Sonic and gaming stuff. Maybe you'll care about what I write and maybe you won't. But I'm going to redesign the site and write on it occasionally. I look forward to lots of zero-comment posts

This way I don't have to worry about Doing All The Things before I can Make An Update. This way I don't (yet) have to worry about Images For All The Sections until and unless I put them back up.

And if I can't do it by myself perhaps I will actually ask for some help for once.

It's like the old guy that lives at the end of the street, you walk past him every day and he's just sitting in the garden or something and then one day he's not there. You don't see him sitting in the garden for several weeks and you think he's finally copped it but then one day you see him again watering the daffodils from his wheelchair.

I just read through some of the IRC thread and joined the channel. All kinds of nostalgia is happening. I can only imagine that a majority of you would be really KIPPERS to talk to due to great differences in interests and topics to talk about.
