This is a Sonic forum, did anyone forget? Have something super tasty which I came across today.
I was skeptical about this whole project when I first heard about it, but now that I see a demo of it I can say it looks absolutely delicious. Graphics are super vibrant and colourful and pretty, and the music arrangement is pretty sexy!! Overall this looks incredibly well put together and I can't wait to see more!!
Most people would say that graphics aren't everything blah blah blah but oh my god just look at them. They're so great that you could just like, lick them all up~~~
Also the bit at the end with loads of Sonics made me giggle.
One thing I hope they'll include is their own original content rather than just have it as a 100% faithful reproduction. Also they should have totally rearranged the speed-up music from Sonic Adventure or something.

My only complaint is that it's a remake. Hell, I'm surprised it's Sonic 2 and not Sonic 1 they're redoing (or does Project Needlemouse class as that? /laughtertrack)

My main issue with this is it looks a lot like a really, really pretty Flash game. I'd have liked to have seen this with high resolution raster based sprites (e.g. Guilty Gear, Blaz Blue) rather than vector based ones. Other than that it's pretty impressive.

I think I don't like the non raster graphics. Also the music, I just realised, has the MOST DROOPIEST BRASS SECTION EVER. Can you hear it?

That's pretty cool. I hope Oil Ocean looks/will look as funky as it does on the original.
Edit: Played it, looks pretty, feels like it's running through treacle, and I doubt that my PC is to blame.

So, am I getting the wrong end of the stick here, or is this LOst fellow the KIPPERiest KIPPER to have ever KIPPERed for not having made the game open source in the first place?

I don't think it would've recovered from the keylogger scare if it had continued.
It was the final nail in the coffin, really.
