Lightnix's solo game makin event Savage Viking Kid

SV Game Making competition thread thing. Whoo. As the title may have indicated, the title of my game shall be Savage Viking Kid. I'm currently brainstorming things at the moment but I do indeed intend for the playable character to be some kind of sword wielding, helmet wearing child. For now enjoy this hastily biro drawn concept "art" (I can't draw for beans).



If you want something to keep you amused in the mean time (and perhaps it'd also be nice to get somebody to actually post in this thread), here's a highly unpolished, unfinished (no sound or even the boss-related bits anything) rendition of the Doomsday Zone from S3&K in 3D that I've been working on since the 20th or so:

This is the first time I've tried to make music in that kind of style - it's a work in progress, but I'd like some feedback (if it sucks, I want to know damn it! ). I plan on adding a viking/folk sounding bit in there somewhere but I haven't quite figured that out yet.
