We recently bought my sister a laptop, specifically an MSi one.
Unfortunately, much like Asus, it inists on constantly advertising itself to you AFTER you've bought the damn thing.
As well as having a ninjaing massive MSi logo appear while Windows 7 is loading, the desktop also has an MSi background depicting a bunch of happy smilie univeristy students looking trendy and hip with their MSi laptops, AND YOU CAN'T EFFING CHANGE IT.
Every time you try to change the background, it'll change back to the MSi one after about five minutes (or when you restart the PC).
I can't find anything on google because, annoyingly enough, "msi" also means "Microsoft Installer".
Anyone know how to fix this?

Doesn't apply. This laptop uses Windows 7 Home Premium. Like I said, you CAN change backgrounds, but they'll always revert back to the MSi theme after a few minutes.

Check the programs you have installed. Maybe its one of those advertising programs such as WildTangent and KIPPERS like that that comes with laptops?

Just so you know, I solved it.
I deleted the MSi theme.
Yeah, that actually worked.
F#ck.
