VERY. You can't lose on a Stock match, and you can only lose by Time Out on Time match (haven't tried Coin).
For me, the 3rd controller rumbles and the game locks up when a match is over (but that might be a problem with the disc, or that always happens on the PAL version).
Classic and Adventure also freeze , and I can imagine that All-Star would too.
Event works fine as far as I've seen. The best event to play is 50 - you're up against the two Hands as Master Hand. Uh...
