Michael Atkinson does it again! (for the uninformed: this is the douchebag which makes it so that R-rated games are banned here)

Actually it was TW which alerted me to this as he posted it on Psytrack, but I was recently on YouTube and saw that Blunty had put up a video about it. I don't usually like Blunty, but I guess if you hate reading you can watch his video summary instead.



So this wanker has decided that for some reason Australians shouldn't be allowed to look at the covers of R-rated films if they're not put in a special section away from all other films in a video store. Now with things the way they are nowadays, more and more films are being rated R, such as Kill Bill and Mad Max. To be frank, most R-rated films don't even have very graphic covers, unless they're, y'know, porn. I don't really see the reason for this at all, it's completely stupid.

Guys, I know this is going to be ironic in a topic about censorship, but can we maybe dial down some of the jokes, keep it PG-13 as we have suggested in Teh Roolz?

And, to make it extra-ironic, I agree utterly that Michael Atkinson is in severe need of unemployment. The man is a waste of his state's and country's valuable oxygen.
