That looks awesome. And also, 4 minutes and 17 seconds? Either the player's been staying in one place for some time. Or the stages will be quite long.

Oh, come on. That's just Casino Night Zone's tileset slapped over Startdust Speedway's background. Sonic Team is just recycling everything. >:/

I personally think the HUD is too far into the screen. I mean, you don't need that much of a border between the edge of the screen and the HUD.

The tileset does seem to have a certain element of "Knocked-up-with-photoshop" about it. The grass in Splash Hill looks a little weird from what I've seen.

Am I the only one that thinks download-only is a huge step backwards? I mean, yeah, it'll be cheaper, but look at it. It looks like total rubbish if you put it next to Sonic Unleashed.

Well, it's apparently what all Sonic fans have been waiting for. If it plays alright, then all will be forgiven.
You are right, though. I always preferred a boxed game.
