Just here to let you know that the chances of this being finished in time for X-mas is pretty much non-existant, especially if I want it to actually look somewhat decent (blame Uni work).
However, i'm not giving up on this. I want to finish this so that when I send out my CV to possible job placements soon for my gap year, there'll actually be something recent on my YouTube channel for them to see (even if that means finishing it AFTER christmas).
I will however be uploading a finished scene from it in the next few days.
Oh and BTW, one of the scenes is a parody of Ctr Alt Del (specifically the animated series). I myself will be voicing Lilah and Ethan, but if there's anyone here who can do a voice similar to Lucas' please PM me.

A small teaser clip of a cartoon=/=a released cartoon.
You can have a demo of Doom 2 and play it all you want, but you still don't have Doom 2.
On a slightly related note: It still sounds like Eco is saying "Go John Wing" rather than "Gold and win."

Incomplete doesn't mean jack KIPPERS if nine tenths of the content is missing. You could make a two second clip of the Christmas toon and then post it on Youtube, by the standards you have set it would have fallen under the category of released.
As I said, you can have a demo of Doom 2, and play the absolute SMASHINGLY hell out of that one level until your brains melt, but you still don't own Doom 2 since you are missing the other 31 levels that actually make it Doom 2.

His point, Bish, is that what you uploaded of the toon does not constitute a "release", incomplete or no. Closer to a preview, if you will. I am inclined to agree, but I don't know why he's getting so worked up over it.

All I was saying was that your joke made sense because nothing was ever officially released from Duke Nukem Forever (no demos or anything, just a bunch of leaked concept art and beta gameplay vids), whereas I myself released the scenes I had actually got around to completing from that before cancelling. But of course any joke that was made is now ruined due to the fact that we had to have a debate about it. -.- |
