Yeah, fair point. Kinda ruins the point if I stoop to the same level. Sorry for that. That's my main problem (as you've undoubtably noticed already), when someone's bitchy at me I get bitchy at them back, which just makes things worse.
Though I still don't see why Cheesy is so intent on being bitchy at me at any given opportunity recently. I say I want to make another SV themed animation, I get bitched at. When I tell people not to call Max a furnon-heterosexual, I get bitched at.
At least I can admit when i've been a bitch (albeit after a couple of minutes* of being said bitch, especially if it was aimed at my own friends), Cheesy just seems to be doing it willy nilly and it's really starting to get on my nerves (as you can see). Wasn't his new years resolution to not be like this or something like that? I know it sounds mean, but it really is like he's suffering from some male form of PMS. At least when he directs it towards MatrixMarioX it's understandable. ;_;
I just want to make a short and fun animation, not just out of the sheer impulsive want but also because I really need to get back into animation. My youtube account hasn't been updated for at least a year, and now is around the time we at Uni start sending out CVs to prospective companies for our work experience year, so it'd be nice if I had something recent to show them.

Obviously your nerd rage kinda affected your reading ability, because at no point was such a threat made. I was merely pointing out the stupidity behind throwing such personal insults at a moderator of all people (I mean, would you do it to Fiery? Or Matt even?). But yeah, I do apologise for not liking it when people insult my friends, and feeling the need to defend them. Maybe when you get yourself some friends (IRL or likewise) you'll know how it feels. In the meantime, go back to PMSing at MatrixMarioX. Oh, wow. Okay. Let's begin here, ignoring your complaint above for later. Firstly, just because a threat is not explicitly stated doesn't mean it's not implied, and the whole "I wouldn't do that if I were you" was definitely a threat to bring Max down on them. Maybe you didn't intend to call him in directly, but you were certainly trying to imply that they'd be punished. If you didn't mean it that way, I recommend phrasing your posts better. Secondly, aside from Craig, who is a dick and entirely okay with it, nobody was insulting anyone. It's not like the entire board lunged down his throat. If you could not throw personal attacks at me, such as saying that I have no friends (be assured it's untrue, but I won't address it further), that'd be great. It's a tired insult and I'm tired of responding to it. The same goes for your bit of "run along" condescension. Just don't. Now let's move onto the above. Rest assured that if anyone else immediately went up in arms about innocuous questions or comments, I'd be mocking them too. When you were starting this out, I was asking about what was different from previous failed attempts. It was only insulting because you perceived it to be insulting. When you were defending Max, however, my comment was intended to be insulting because you grossly overreacted. I'm fine with you defending Max from insults, but keep it to a reasonable level. That doesn't seem like a tough request. If you stop overreacting, I will be more than happy to leave you be and get on with other things I have to do (which does tend to be a lot before holiday break). If you continue to do this, well, I'll have plenty more to say. tl;dr: You overreacted. I responded. Stop overreacting. |

Anyways, in about an hour I have a presentation to do at Uni. When I get back i'll do more work on SV Christmas and hopefully get some more screenshots uploaded.
Until then, random open question for everyone. Should I try to write in some hot Eco-in-a-Microwave action for this one, or leave it out?

I can't do that awesome high-pitched whine like you could (but I'm not sure if you can) for me  Well, since we're doing animals, you could do simply the lime-green tails with purple eyes or the blue knuckles with manik's hair on top and purple eyes. >> |
