I'm half Anglo-Indian, so a fair bit. Dunno what I'd call my skin colour, though.

A pale brown, I'd say Wait, so this thread is about heritage now? Sorry. Didn't mean to. But hey. At least it clears up that YES I AM INDEED NOT BLACK, EVERYONE.

Your name is far too middle-east/indian/around-that-general-area for you to be black.

I...honestly don't know. Whenever someone asks me that question, I normally don't know what to answer. I guess it was those two months I spent in Miami during the 2003 oil strike watching TV in a language I gradually learnt to understand, and ended up never watching TV in spanish (when it was possible, of course) again. And also some forums (including this one) helped. Though the old forum is one I'd rather not mention nor go back to.

So... none of us actually went to Learn English schools?
I FEEL SO ALIVE! I FEEL LOVED!
Instead, the ones who have actually been to those schools and I've met are either Arrogant bitches, or just plain do it wrong.
Like, for example, this friend of mine thinks that "fuzzy" is pronounced, and spelled "puzzy" (but without emphasis on the z, sounding more like an s). I don't know how many times have I tried to prove her wrong, only to ignore me.

Your name is far too middle-east/indian/around-that-general-area for you to be black. Once upon a time, the internet did not know my name. It was only like, August or December last year that people were wondering if I was black or not >>
