I figure it could be metal and FE just drew it the wrong way.
Or Dooms is lying out her ass, which is seeming more and more likely.

*proceeding to gag the jury* Shouldn't we move on to the third witness soon? We can argue about metal and bats for hours, but we don't have all the stories yet.

I meant to say if there is one. If there isn't well, argue away.

I figure it could be metal and FE just drew it the wrong way. Yeah. The guy in the photo actually isn't dead, FE just drew it wrong. >>

It's not completely unheard of for a baseball bat to have an inscription on the barrel, which is most likely what that grey part is (a piece of metal for a personal inscription). If it is metal, that's what would've set off the metal detector. If it has an inscription on it, it may reveal a personal fact about the victim or one of the suspects that would be useful towards making a connection in this investigation.
SO FOR GOD'S SAKE DETECTIVE JUST LOOK AT IT ALREADY. (as in, send a PM to FE and state that you wish to investigate this specific part of the evidence)

^That would be easy to do if FE was around.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAETJHGYU God. God. GOD. What a trainwreck. And I feel RESPONSIBLE for this. So... I'm going to help you, folks. A good host must be able to change clothes quickly guys Okay, let's go over some stuff. Fiery: "How can the blood on the handle of the bat be unidentified? If there was another person at the scene that we don't yet know, there is no way that Eco can be declared guilty. Without determining who that person is, we can not fully know how the crime played out!" Absolutely correct. CC: "(...)The important part is that I know the defendant, and I can also testify that he murdered Ben Stone!" Firstly, according to CC's testimony, he did not witness the victim's death. He didn't see who killed Ben Stone; he merely saw him being attacked. Perhaps his relationship with the defendant explains why he believes Eco is the killer... We should probably hear something about their relationship. CC's Testimony: "I naturally had my camera with me, so I decided to walk around the park taking pictures of things like the trees and the lake in the light of dawn." Too bad CC didn't take a picture of what he witnessed, hmm? The metal detector: The baseball bat set it off. Did I forget anything? Because I am SMASHINGLY tired. Anyway, this is probably all the help I can give you for now.
