Seems like the fanboys got their hands on HD tech from the Soviets again. ;D But still, HD SatAM characters make me vomit.

I'm inclined to agree with Annoying Forum-having Guy here. SatAM should never, ever have any more exposure to the outside world.

It's uh... weird. I dunno, it doesn't really captcher the Sonic magic. For some reason Sonic has been on steroids, as indicated by his now sort of muscular physique and what can only appear to be veins sticking up around his head and quills. And the way that the whole screen rotates when you're going around loops is just disorientating. Also I'm not a huge fan of the sound track so far. Also you see the characters rotate vertically, and because they've got quite detailed shading it just looks weird when the direction of lighting looks off. It certainly has a unique style to it, which comes across as both interesting and weird at the same time. I haven't played it much, but the physics engine doesn't seem like anything special. It looks really nice, though.

It looks really nice, though. Yeah after playing it a bit it kind of grows on you. I kind of understand and respect their art style than I did when I made that post, though they still have a way to go in fixing things up, but I understand it's still early days for them. Still I'm quite looking forward to seeing how differently the game plays with their next release. The physics seem okay, not terrible but could be better. I think they need to be less liberal with their use of loops though. |

The game looks quite good. I'm downloading it for my laptop now. The only downside to it that I can find (according to the trailer), is just that I have never actually seen SatAM, so I don't know some of the characters on it  . |

Why does Knuckles have a giant tumor on his head in the first picture? Was cancer a part of the SatAM storyline?
They also appear to have a very tenuous grasp of what constitutes 2.0 instead of 1.1, or whatever. Adding a couple of extra features does not count as an entirely new game. hurp durp.

...I'd rather play this with all the bugs and graphics ironed out. Because after playing it earlier I... was not terribly happy with it XD

I've played it, got up to the 5th area, act 2, and now it's crashed on me. I dunno whether it's the game or it's just my computer, but it's not letting me back on it, or even off it now.

So then how are you posting? V :-/V As for the game, I agree that the art style is really weird, but if Sonic's character is different to the "zany fun/serious business" personality we've seen over recent years it'll be worth it. |

It's has a nice art style, but it feels like some sort of attempt to make a darker and edgier Sonic game. The colors are too dark and muted for my taste. |

Wasn't SatAM the cartoon based off the Archie comics (or vice-versa)? Because if so, then the Archie comics are basically a d.a.e. version of the Sonic franchise now, so it makes sense from my point of view. Also, cute - FUS still have us up as an affiliate  |

So then how are you posting? V :-/V The game is only on a window, so you can click minimize on it whenever you want. The game is working alright now. Still, how do you unlock the other characters? Or are they only available on the next update? |
