That looks so much better than the first one.
The first one he didn't look like he had any perspective, it was like a complete copy paste.

I... can't really get over it still.
It looks like it needs custom sprites, or editing to fit the background better.

Spyro desperately needs good 2D sprites that aren't 3D rendered. It's okay, but it doesn't fit. 7/10

I don't think there are any proper sprites for him, because even his side-scrollers have those 3d rendered sprites. Oh well, new project for me. I'm just waiting for some n00b (Danju, perhaps?) to say "BITMIX OMG !!!!1111!!111!"

There's the Heroes tale sprites, Still pre-rendered, but for a sidescroller. Though I never saw a rip of them.
Late Edit: I mean, Spyro Fusion/Orange whatever

Oberstleutnant Insipid: It isn't bitmixing, because both were from a GBA game. (I used Spyro 2: Season of Flame) @zakuro: I would have used the Spyro Orange sprites, but I'm not legally allowed to download the ROM.

Stylemixing then. You worry about legality of all things?

I don't think it's a problem if you're not making any profit out of it, and not playing it either.

Besides, you can have different bittages on a console. The Sonic Advance games are 32-bit. The remakes of Super Mario World on the GBA however, are still 16-bit. I would wager they are indeed different bittages. Who cares about legality? This is the internet. Not like you're going to be caught anyway, and if you're not financially profiting from it, [money saved aside] no problem.

Or, you could always try to make your own custom Spyro sprites, earning extra praise for your initiative and skill as well as being the creator of the first SA style Spyro sheet.
