I used the trick to make the character go off the screen. (Spindash by the spring to do it)

Spindash by the spring to do it I am not familiar of that trick... Then again, I haven't played any of the GBA Sonic games since my DS broke  . |

Wow, that's one nice start! Loved the techie...
As for this one, looks good, but a bit of sprite editing and you'd be good to go.
First one: 9/10 (Surprisingly good for a first hoax)
Second one: 8/10
Also, try to resize your avatar. Proboards sucks at resizing...

This has been done before. It's not BAD, but it could be a bit better. My main problem is that his left legs are hovering off the ground, and there's no life icon.
