I premiered the final song from our upcoming album 'The World's End' at my school's talent show last weekend.
Enjoy.

I enjoyed that indeed.
Looks like you're going for the Robert Plant look from the video XD

I've been told that I should've looked around or something, but I felt like if I started doing stuff, people would stop listening and start watching.

You're very right. I think it was wise not to be much of a showman because the piece of music you played was above that. Also, nifty show closer. Always goes not so perfect and all but hey

Our brass section was DAMN good. Other guitarists were ok, great drummer, great frontman, great bassist.

Times like these that I wish our school had more musically decent talent.
i.e. My talent show I had to get someone from a different school to be the singer in my band.

Yeah, I hate that. Most of the people in that are graduating this year, so next year's going to be dryyyy.

o.O That ending was awesome. Why must every talent show at my school suck so much D:
EDIT: Wait, just remembered that at Battle of the Bands, one guy played Cliffs of Dover FASTER than it's supposed to be played. Without screwing up.

That... Was full of win, sir. Sounded beutifully awesome. (I know that beutifully isn't even a word, but hey) I wanna graduate already, because the next school's talent shows are great... but with more traditional music... EDIT: Wait, just remembered that at Battle of the Bands, one guy played Cliffs of Dover FASTER than it's supposed to be played. Without screwing up. O.O THAT is talent.

(I know that beutifully isn't even a word, but hey) Beautifully, on the other hand, is a real word. Anyway, yes, that was indeed rather awesome. Nicely done sir. Also, whilst we're lamenting on the school vs. music issue, well, it was totally the other way around for me. There were quite a lot of fairly good musicians at my school - I was not one of them, I only really started getting 'in to' music after I'd left school. I kind of regret this as no doubt I'd have benefited from the situation otherwise.

That sucks. D= Having awesome people to play with is awesome... It's actually quite upsetting not to have people to play with... You'd look around to find that nobody has the same interest as you and isn't willing ot work with you the way you'd like, simply because they believe either their music taste is better or simply that they can't play music. Or they're jerks that just won't work with you properly

I have some of that in Piraxis, but I'm hoping this round will be better.
