I use PhotoScape for that. It's free, and does some stuff other than GIF animation too.

Quick question. If I was to put the vocals of one song, and put them into another instrumental song. How am I supposed to separate the two channels? And should I be using Audacity for this?

You have to do it manually. Supposedly Virtual DJ is good, but I have no idea how to work it.

Only way you can do it unless you have the track source is to play around with the equalisation until only the vocals remain, but it will never be perfect.

Yes, use Audacity. If you mean putting the vocals into the instrumental, you need to create a new channel. If you mean separating the stereo track of the instrumentals, you convert both channels to Mono. Anything else, still use Audacity and read a few tutorials.

Do TFT monitors get screen burn-in like the old CRT ones used to?

Plasma and LCD flat-screens can be affected temporarily. TFT's shouldn't be affected, although continuous display may wear the screen over a very long period of time.

Are we allowed to use the image BBCode tag for reviews? I know we can use some BBCode (specifically bold, underlining and italics), but I can't find anything on the image tag. I say this as I've written a fairly long review (I think you might be able to guess the game), and some images would probably help to break the text up a bit.

There are some dark, squiggled lines running down my LCD screen that have been there for a year or two, which kind of rules out the "affected temporarily" thing. They look to be burned in, so I'm not sure how to go about fixing them. Ideas?
