I may fail at drawing, but I can find other ways to show off my artistic talent!
Recently, I've been mulling around a bit and experimenting with photography. I'd like some constructive criticism and feedback.

Bear in mind, this is my first batch of photos, so most of these are simply practice.

Rabbit Conjugation
I shot a picture of my rabbit figurines. They appear to be holding a small conference...Don't they?

My Sister's Teddy Bear is a pianist...It seems.

Again...Not *all* Art forms have to be simply drawing...There are other mediums...Take Bead-work for example.

I cheated, my Dad did this patchwork on one of my bracelets long ago. But still. This is proof that my family is quite liberal.

This was a beaded necklace I patched up 3 years ago, I did it by myself this time, but not all of the beads that were on the original are on the patched-up version.

A necklace and semi-matching bracelet I made in the 6th grade Hoo boy, these are old. Still. They're worth mentioning. I don't wear them anymore, but I still have them around.

Rainbow Bracelet This is the most recent thing I made, and I still wear it around my wrist. I tried experimenting by braiding 3 different colors of string together. What does it make you think of?

I thought it looked cool at the time...But now that I look at it, it looks like it belongs in a faded newspaper...Perhaps I should have went with black and white instead?

The beadwork is nice. The photography is so-so, but maybe some more interesting subjects (like people, animals, etc.)

If you were using a film camera, I'd tell you what to do, since I take photography in school, but who actually uses those KIPPERSs anymore?

For larger subjects (such as the one your sister took of you - can't see the one you took since RM is jumpy about URLs like that ) use the flash to stabilise the shot

For closer subjects such as the rabbits, try to see if your camera has a 'macro' function. Its symbol is usually that of a tulip-like flower. (This is, of course, assuming you're using digital.) The use of either a flash or no flash create different effects here, though if you use no flash make sure the subject is sufficiently lit with natural daylight so as to avoid camera shake being visible. Rest the camera on a stable surface or tripod if you can; your hand is always less steady than you think, and the smaller the subject the more it shows.
