Anyone who played EBA or Ouendan already knew that, Zae. >> What the hell are they? Ouendan is the original Japanese DS game Osu! is based off. It features some suited dancers (or sexeh cheerleaders) using their dancing powers to solve things like world hunger and poverty (or someone needing to get laid). Rather than being translated into English however, it was instead completely localised into its own version called Elite Beat Agents, with new characters, levels, and completely English music from the likes of Madonna and Avril Lavigne (with the art style, gameplay, and character achtypes staying the same).* Apparently there's gonna be a sequel to the Japanese game, so we can only hope our Americanised one also gets its own sequel. EDIT: * I should probably note that most (if not all) of the music in Elite Beat Agents are cover versions. EBA also has the YMCA (dance included).

Well, I finally got this game, even if those horribly drawn animé girls that pop up every once in a while were (and still are) a big turn-off for me.
...I suck horribly. But it's still fun. It's just not the same without those crazy cutscenes like in Ouendan/EBA, though... I've always wanted to play the real thing, but I swear they don't sell it over here. On a semi-related note, they don't sell Phoenix Wright over here either.
Yeah, Portugal sucks.

I have the EBA skin, so instead of the anime girl, Agent Jay's mug pops up =3

Update: To those who were getting Direct3D errors (myself included): Lastest release: Beta 497 now supports OpenGL. (albeit a little buggy) Hooray!
