I give you *dun du-nu-nuuun* Through the Fire and the Flames ~HARDCORE REMIX~ uk.youtube.com/watch?v=pXDRdXmVCB0&fmt=18DAMMIT YOUTUBE WHERE'S THE STEREO EVEN ON HIGH QUALITY. "This took me roughly 12 hours total to do, spread over the course of 2 hours a night for 6 days (on average), the "guitar solo" alone taking 2 days to complete. More notes are in the annotations, so make sure those are switched on for a running commentary of the song. Enjoy." MP3 Download: [ link]

That's pretty epic.
I used to have a similar game for the PS1. Probably done by the same company seeing as it had the same interface, but it was limited due to it being a dumbed down for children (it was called Popstar Maker, or something to that effect. The interface used to create the pop songs was the exact same as the one in the vid, but it didn't allow you to make your own riffs).

The program? I actually used the PS1 version, but I can make an .ISO image file for the PlayStation disc, assuming that ePSXe (or whatever elmuator you use) can handle "copied" discs. There is a PC version (which I have also) but.. it's not as good in my opinion; I'd still take the PS1 version over the PC one.

I don't have a PS1 emulator. I'd probably just use the PC ver.

I use ePSXe myself. With that, I've been ablt to run the PS1 discs themselves.

I like the composition indeed, but you should think about modifying some of the volume in certain areas for some of the instruments, just for some extra dynamics to make it more interesting and less repetitive.
But it's cool.
Edit: You ruined some of the solo, like, the duet bit.
...Quite badly >>

If you're talking about the YouTube video itself, for some reason that took away any stereo and made it mono. It sounds better on the mp3.

It sounds like a choir of steel drums randomly beating on KIPPERS.
Which I can't say is an improvement over Dragonforce's choir of guitar tracks randomly beating on KIPPERS.
But I'm probably just biased because I hate Dragonforce.

I personally don't hate them, I just think they're overrated.
Personally I think it's mostly due to the song being on Guitar Hero III.

Dragonforce aren't bad in my opinion. It just happens to be that all their songs are virtually identical to me. Once you've heard one you've heard them all.
Anyway, this is probably the most basic kind of remix in that you're just swapping out instruments. But it still sounds pretty good.
