Writing one up.
I bet at least one person's gonna try and rickroll the year 52,008. A little tempted to, but can't be arsed.

Ok, so Cheesy has rickroll'd the future.
Now we need someone to send the future some Goatse or Tubgirl, disguised as the map to a fully working copy of Sonic X-treme (hey, it'll be a myth by then).

I think this is futile as in 55,000 years, it's extremely unlikely that people would be speaking English - not as we know it anyway. I am asking them to write back to me if they've invented time travel though.

Ok, so Cheesy has rickroll'd the future. I know of 2 other people who has also. Hell, I'd say at least 100 people have.

I doubt the English language will be obliterated, as English is one of the more popular languages of the world, especially in business.

It won't be obliterated, but I'm certain it will have changed a lot in the future. Hell, it changed noticeably just in the past 300 years or so.

I think the chances of people reading English, in the state that we know it, in 55,000 years is terribly unlikely. In fact I wouldn't be too surprised if people by that point just communicated through some kind of sci-fi neural impulse thingy - no time to waste explaining when you can communicate an idea in a fraction of a second!
