Y'all know I use Poser right? Well, for a very long time there has been a free alternative done by a different company named Daz Studi (D|S), which supported the use of Poser figures. I switched for a while, but it had crap toon rendering. Well, just recently, pwToon was released, allowing me to do LOVELY toon renders! =3 These two renders here are of Usako from my currently on hiatus dating sim, updated to the latest anime figures (Aiko4). The models are from Daz and Renderosity, the textures are by me, and all toon shading done with pwToon. Rendered completely in Daz Studio.

Brilliant model and character design there.
So wait, this Daz Studio is free and supports Poser models?

I'm not too fond of the face, but i'm loving these shaders. =3 Heck, I could go as far as to argue that the results are better than what I could get out of Poser.

Wow those are awesome, loving the models, the shader effects are really nice, too. It'd be cool to see graphics in a similar style to that in games and such rather than current developers' aims to make everything look as damn realistic as possible. Lovin' it.

Hey Bish? Could you check your computer for viruses of any sort? I think DAZ Studio had a bug in it; I'm unable to access anything in my laptop. Sure, the desktop appears, but the Start bar is frozen, and when CTRL-ALT-DEL does work, all I see is that winlogon.exe is taking up 99% of my CPU. I can't start up any programs.
Currently looking into solutions, as I haven't backed up my files in a looooooong time and I don't want to lose them.
Aside from that, though, and before the problem, DAZ Studio worked beautifully.
(This post was made from our main computer.)

I always scan everything before using it/extracting it, and the latest version of Daz Studio (downloaded from that website Daz3D links to for the official download) has no viruses in it. Nor does it have any laptop burning bugs. Maybe it over heated? Perhaps it got hit somehow? All I know is that it's unlikely Daz caused the problem. Perhaps you could try posting your problem at the www.daz3d.com forums (particularly "The Commons"). There's quite a few computer boffins there who'll probably be able to help you more than a forum full of kids and teenagers.

Double toast! In these ones I tried to mimic the Poser shaders for the chibi model Near_Me/Moe-Tan. I've also edited these models to look older (basically I scaled their legs to be longer, and I used magnets/deformers to make them thinner and give them boobs).

Thanks, though it's not me who should get credit, but the guy who made her outfit and hair style (aswell as textures for her eyes). He's a really good modeller, and has also done an outfit based on the newest Vocaloid (the blonde girl who has a twin brother).
