I got a little bored last week and though on creating a new banner for SVMB, and having only finished it just now, I thought I'd share it with the rest:
Now, although this is the final version of this banner, it's in no way finished.
You'll notice that there's a transparent ~25-pixel-high bar at the bottom (and 20 at the top, but unless the canvas size is stretched a bit further, what I ask won't fit at the top); this is where the fun part begins.
In order to make the banner more "SV-friendly", simply place a sprite of your character onto the banner* and post it back in this thread so others can paste their's next to your character, should they wish to post it there nad then or wait a little longer should s/he want their character placed next to someone else.**
*Note #1: It will be impossible to do this in Paint; get something like paint.NET, Photoshop or any other transpency-dealing image editor.
Note #2: Depending on which side the first sprite is on (I suggest the right-hand-side), Matt's sprite would be "at the front" (thus next to the SV logo), followed by some of the other oldbies, etc. etc..
**Note #3: Sprites are to arranged as so:

So who wants to paste their character on first? (a simple standing or "victory" pose would suffice, preferrably facing the right-hand-side, and preferrably Advance/Battle style.)
