A little backstory here: I took my music listening exam yesterday, and among the pieces played was In The Hall Of The Mountain King, from the Peer Gynt Suite (also known as the Alton Towers theme). I like this piece, and later went hunting for somewhere to download it. Succeeding only in finding a Youtube video of an orchestra playing it live, I went to create my own midi of it, based on that video. So here it is. Do tell me what you think. If you want to know, the video is here.

That's quite a good arrangement. I want a digital orchestra

More music from me! This time, I've made a midi from Still Alive (the Portal song). It is here; bear in mind that with the Midi format you can't use actual lyrics. A vocal-line-free Karaoke version is here, if you feel like singing along. Preferably while nobody's around unless you actually have a good singing voice.

Tené, can I nick your Still Alive midi to convert into an 8-bit style?

By the way Tene... What did you use to create these?

Sound Studio II. It's just a bog-standard midi program that came with some midi cables I bought ages ago. I never really used the cables but I like the program.
