H. P. Lovecraft is a threat to morality now? It's not enough to be a threat to failure?

First with Poe, then with Lovecraft. Not again. And BTW, that was a really bad attempt to create an original "You fail" message.
NOTE: I made the changes on Photobucket, which apparently is lagging.

that was a really bad attempt to create an original "You fail" message. Me? I like the comic, I was just joking around. >> What I meant by "threat to failure" is that Lovecraft's books are so awesome they threaten to wipe out all failure.

I'm not into serious comics, but the graphical quality of this one is brilliant. I especially like the saturated colour scheme. The text is also clear and readable.
BTW, who's Ray Bradbury?

The Pletch: Sorry, it's hard to tell the difference between sarcasm and malevolence online. @bish: Bradbury is a sci fi/fantasy author. He's known for Dandeline Wine, Something Wicked This Way Comes, Fahrenheit 451, and The Martian Chronicles (the collection this story comes from). He's pretty good, but he's more well known in the sci fi world than in the fantasy one.

I think it's pretty good for a serious comic.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any good city scenes, since the Metal Slug site wasn't working, so I used Batman Returns SNES backgrounds. Hopefully, they aren't too bad. C&C

And now that the prologue is done, the story begins. And just out of curiosity, has anyone read the story this is based on?
