3rd chapter here. And I hope people actually read it this time. <.<
Chapter THREE: DisasterAfter a few energy blasts, many unanswered questions, lots of yelling and a broken leg hastily healed by Areia, the hedgehog decided to call it a day.
“I seriously don’t understand… What do the elders see in her?” Sho said to himself.
“Hey, I’m still waiting for an apology!” FE said, clearly annoyed.
“For what?”
“My leg! What makes you think you can just go around breaking people’s legs like nobody’s business?!”
“I was training you…”
“We don’t get numbers shot at us when we’re in Maths.”
“What, so you’re expecting me to sit here and… TEACH you how should your legs move when you’re dodging a kick?”
“Why not?” Unsurprisingly, FE seemed to be completely serious.
Sho sighed. “I think we should go back to Angel Island now. I think we’ve had enough training for today.”
FE took that sentence as a more polite way for him to say,
“I’d much rather forget about you until tomorrow, thank you.” Still, she decided not to say anything and simply nodded in agreement.
“Let’s go.” He teleported them back to the island, but nothing could have possibly prepared them for what they saw when they arrived. Nearly everything around them was on fire. The already previously decaying ruins were in danger of being completely destroyed now. One building in particular was rather depressing to look at now: the place Areia told FE to be the fabled Hidden Palace.
The cat-fox stared in disbelief at her surroundings. “Who could’ve done this…?”
Sho shook his head sadly. “Let’s take a look around…”
“Wh-what if it’s dangerous?!”
“We can always fight. Think of this as your first test. Besides… Maybe you’ll see Tikal or Chaos. Who knows?”
“Let’s go!” As she said that, she rushed towards the emerald altar, apparently neglecting the fact that it was very likely Sho told her that only to get her to move.
When they arrived at the altar, they saw someone with his back turned to them. His fur was completely white, but he wore a black robe. The contrast gave him a creepy, somewhat ghostly appearance.
Sho gasped.
FE looked at him inquiringly. “D’ya know him?”
Before he could reply, the hedgehog turned around. His blue eyes looked at the cat-fox, then at the green hedgehog, with a smirk on his face. Hadn’t it been for the unknown hedgehog’s dark skin, and FE would have instantly called him a ghost.
“Sliver…” Sho muttered, under his breath.
“Who is he?”
He looked away from her. “My father.”
Sliver kept his eyes on Sho. “Well, I didn't think I'd see your face again. I was just going to do my dear child a favour and destroy this emerald…” He smirked once again and turned to the Master Emerald.
“Family or not,” Sho said, “no one even THINKS of destroying the emerald if they want to live.”
FE did the best fighting pose she could, holding her crescent-shaped necklace in a somewhat menacing way. “I’m with Sho here!”
The white hedgehog glared at Sho. “You’re going to pay for what you did to Flare…”
Sho simply frowned and punched his father in the face.
Meanwhile, FE sat on the emerald, grinning. “There, now you can’t destroy it. Hah!”
Sliver turned around. “So, you’re Sho’s apprentice, huh? Let’s see what you’ve got!” As he said that, he punched the cat-fox and began to pummel her
“H-h-hey!” She grabbed her necklace. “Wrath of Gaia!” She fired a bright, white beam from her free hand, blowing the hedgehog off of her.
“Careful now, little girl, you wouldn’t want to hurt your precious emerald, now would you?” He kicked FE in the stomach, making her stagger a little.
“LITTLE GIRL?!” She decided to try her Tail Dunk technique again, only on the hedgehog’s head this time. However, it was countered just as before; he grabbed her tail and threw her at the emerald.
“Hah! You got hurt from that? I’m sorry, LET ME HIT HARDER!” He rapidly hit FE in the stomach, smirking with pleasure as he saw her bending over in pain and crying.
“I c-can’t believe you’re his dad…”
“Ah, yes… Tears…” He chuckled. “Allow me to put you out of your misery…”
The cat-fox watched him draw his sword, too scared to move or even say anything else.

Let me just get this straight: It's Sliver. S-
L-I-V-E-R.
Keep an eye on him. He's yet another of Sho's characters and an awesome villain.
