Everytime I log on and go to a forum, I automaticcally log off. and usuallly everytime I post It doesn't show on my com. can anybody help? Is my thing infested with spyware? My homwpage always restets also. so? can anybody help?

Yes, that does sound like spyware, since you mention that your homepage is changing. Not sure why it would happen when you logon though. You might need to mess with your cookies too. Not being able to stay logged in is almost always a sign of problems with cookies. I recommend "Spybot Search and Destroy" and "Bazooka Spyware Scanner" for getting rid of spyware. The former gets rid of the junk itself, the latter just tells you how to get rid of it. I do recommend Bazooka because it found some junk on my comp that the other wasn't finding. Use both! EDIT: Darn "Y" key... too close to the "T" key.  |

That's Spybo t Search & Destroy Or Lavasoft Ad-aware, but get S&D first. You'd be surprised what some spyware can cause. One recent spyware that survived for fiteen minutes on my computer disabled Notepad, which bothered me because that's how I edit my HTML... |

thats wierd matt...my notepad program mysteriously disapeared....well, ive got adaware, so perhaps S&D is next on the list. quick question, is it free? and jono, its a good point becuase some programs miss spy/adware. no adware for example, is a crappy adware removle thing.

but everytime I download spybot it goes back to the reseted home page.

You have to download Spybot and then run it, green one. It should be able to show you if you have spyware or not, what kind you have, and should be able to delete the registry entries causing it.
D: Disappeared? How so? What happened to me was, I'd click on notepad from the Start menu (yes, I am sad enough to pin Notepad to my Start Menu) and... nothing. Or I'd click View Source from IE and... nothing. What actually happened was that an adware program (think it was the iSearch toolbar) backed the real Notepad up to %windir%/Notpad.exe (cute) and called its adware program Notepad.exe...

well matt, heres how it goes. whenever i click the note pad shortcut, taht annoying "missing shortcut/searching for file" window pops up, which indicates that my notepad program for somereason, does not exist anymore. well, i be getting a new computor soon, so this problem will be resolved soon.
EDIT: okay, found my notepad. good. now, only problem now is that S&D isnt working. whenever i want to destroy some junk, it says its missing a component...perhaps a reinstal?
