Well, I suppose you all wondered why bands like Korn are popular today, instead of stuff like Nirvana and Guns N' Roses or Metallica and Slayer, at least once. Well as the 90s begin, we have a few pretty awesome bands, mainly GNR and Nirvana, and Hairmetal seems to be kicking some a$$. Then all the sudden, big time Thrash Metal bands step in with some of their best junk yet and get slightly popular for an astounding 2 years. Afterwards, teens lose interest in GNR, and we move into the grunge era. (shivers) Nirvana steps up and starts impressing the hell out of people. But, of course, all good things must come to an end. Kurt Cobain commits suicide in 94 and the entire genre falls apart. Metallica could have taken this as an oppurtunity to become popular, but instead their newest albums were not nearly as good as they should have. So, Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Blink step in and automatically the weaker minds are "magnetically attracted" to them. Why, I'll never understand. Punk is seeming to win the popularity contest anyways, no one really cares. Uh... Sorry about the rants. Its been awhile since I've written anything. If you want a peice of history that people in todays modern world would actually listen to, give Velvet Revolver a try. They're GNR revived. Slash and Duff are back. ^^

Don't worry Gee. Companies will always be re-releasing Elton John, Billy Joel, and Queens albums.
