I made this because I am bored and have not had any good debates in awhile
My refute to evolution: Evolution is when an organism becomes more complex through adaptation. Birds evolved from dinosaurs dinosaurs more complex than birds *gasp* A CONTRIDICTION!!!!!! My refute to Pi Pi is a continous random number, therfore it cannot be described as a fraction. but if you got a piece of string exactly 5 inches long(down to the very last atom) , and made a circle from it, you would have an exact circumference. if you measured the diameter, it could also be measured exactly. *gasp* then it can be expresed as a fraction!!!! (i actually know how to explain this but i like to make people think
Ill post other ones later

First one: I think that if birds evolved from dinosaurs but dinosaurs are more complex then birds, then, mabey they devolved.(or evolved backwards[hope you know what I mean}) So thats why birds arent as complex.
Well theres my theory.

Evolution isn't about "more and more complex until you get up to man which is the most complex". That's not how it works. It's survival of the fittest and all that. Besides, who says dinosaurs are more complex than birds?
Pi: Ah, but you could use your measurements to measure Pi more precisely than anyone had before.

No its not. amn is not most complex but yes it does go like that. Science
yes and since it is exact it can be expressed as a fraction

I have a book about genetics on my bedside table. And, like Matt said, complexity isn't always an improvement. As long as you can survive in a dog-eat-rodent world, you get more of your own species. Usually. Evolution is not a case of gaining complexity, since creatures like bacteria are some of the least complex things in existence, and haven't evolved out of the world. Though that probably isn't a good example.
And, as for Pi, it is a fraction. It is not completely random, and most likely not infinite. Remember that some things can be fractions and not proper decimals, like 1/3. All recurring numbers are non-decimals.

I know becomeing more complex itsnt like that But evolution is the process of becomeing more complex Evolution is the process of becomeing more adapted to your envorment. And to do that an organism must become more complex. Tene brais , your example supports what i say not go againts it
So youre saying that millions and millions of mathmetictions are wrong and that teachers are lying to us in math? Pi has infinte digits that have no pattern whatso ever. Try and explain what i said.

Evolution doesn't necessarily involve becoming more complex. It can do, but it can also involve becoming simpler. Evolution is random change, but survival of the fittest determines which changes work.
And, yes, Pi has no pattern. But it isn't random, which you said earlier. If it was random, it could change each time. It is preset in the laws of mathematics.

Evolution is not random change. It is becomeing more adaptive to one's enviorment You dont have an answer for th Pi one do you?

Evolution is the combination of Random Change and SOTF. And, now I come to think of it, birds didn't evolve from dinosaurs as such. The dinosaurs were all wiped out, remember? Birds, fish, reptiles and probably amphibians all evolved from the basic reptiles of the post-cretacious period.
And as for Pi, I am simply saying that it isn't a random number, and probably isn't infinite. No-one quite knows, since no-one has figured out what all the digits of Pi are. I heard there was a supercomputer working it out somewhere, and that it ha reached over a billion digits.

For the evolution thing, ALL the dino saurs werent wiped out, the link between dino saurs and birds are the ?archaloptix? or whatever its called. when i say Pi is infinite, i mean tht it goes on and on and on. and yes the digits have no pattern
