"Oekaki" is what you're thinking of, D. And the difference between this thread and an oekaki board is that on the oekaki board you use a built in Java applet to paint your picture... See oekaki.mooglemb.com for examples. Yeah, but Oekaki is HARD for shaky hands and crappy meese. How can you get such smooth lines? |

 Y'know..."Pixelart" is a term often taken for QUALITY stuff, not the scribbles we're attempting. The Link and Sonic I made are things I'd refer to as pixelart, BECAUSE sprites only refer to something that has actively been used in a game. There's a pixelart-based comic that intrigued me to begin making pixelart, and this thread somehow insults that. Ah well. My entry. *point* |
