Okeydoke, here's me problem. Fansubs. Legal? Technically Not. Yet, you have stuff like Naruto, Kanon, etc. that aren't in America, and will they be? I know not. Well, wot? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't trying to justify them (well, the unlicensed ones really). Wot think you? Actually, I'm signing up for a Catholic board for to ask aboot this one. But wot think you?

If it's the only way you'll ever see that cartoon, in a form you can understand and appreciate, then I reckon do it. It's not like you were going to buy the original in the Japanese, is it? Therefore, net loss to anime corporation == 0.

Ah, thanks. But, I gave it up. Yep, kinda wierd. My interests change so fast that it's sick. For example, I might do a sprite right now. You can lock n' nuke now.

Gawd© forbid that any child under the age of 14 hear the word "crap" or "damn" or "hell" ever in their life! lest they become scarred or worse! become teh gay©!*GASP!* or even WORSE, actualy QUESTION their goverment and the decisions they make! *GASP*! or far worse, actualy THINK! *MORE GASPING!* [/obvious sarcasim] thank god for adult swim, where the good anime stays good. anywho, i have no clue what a fan sub is, so feh. |

Fansub is when someone in Japan leaks Japanese film to America, where fans subtitle it and then distribute it. These days it goes online. Technically it's illegal, but there really hasn't been much action aboot it. However, I think American companies are going to start the hunting soon. Good fansubbers only do Unlicensed anime, and once it is licensed they stop distributing it. And by the way, Adult Swim is still cut, just less so.
