ey everyone, i decided to make a comic parody of the megaman X series. i managed to get one issue put together before my computor(and all of my materials) crashed, so you're gonna have to wait a while for the next one(i have to remake EVERYTHING i have. my sprite, get back my programs, EVERYTHING), so enjoy the first issue. also, before i get hastled for this, yes, the speach bubbles suck. yes, i need backgrounds, but the ones i HAD were to small(and with a crash, i'll have to stick to he basics) and please, PLEASE rate it on humor and the other general stuff.  |

not so much self-depracating as comparison between sprite resoloutions and having X present it in a way i hope others will find humorous.
If you think its a cliche, gimme a reason damn it! the 3rd panel is really just a small igsignifigant line from D to add to the reasons that i wont update. im serious, when it comes to work ethic I AM a lazy bastard. the real joke is in the last panel. also note the facial expressions on X in panel 3 and D's in panel 4.
and if i have to actualy publicly explain the joke to any of you im going to flip. (hell, Wdot could probably get the joke the best, seeing how he's preached dozens of times that the ssonic advanced sprites are far to small)
Also: this isnt the actual comic. this is the crappy intro comic thats just here to show you what i'm doing. the rest will be much better, and far less fourth wall breaking. if i ever do submit this anywhere this piece wont be included.
Also again: if i get any requests for cameos, the awnswer is NO no no and NO, unless its for special occasions like 100+ or 200th or something. which i doubt will even be achieved. So crawl back into your holes you fame grubbing pains in the arse.

Holy, that's a sprite? I thought an MSPaint demon just appeared on the screen!  Just kidding. Anyway, good luck on the comic though. Problem is though, Megaman X sprites are pretty limited, as you can see by his massive amount of gestures and facial expressions. Megaman 7 or one of the fighting game ones are your best bet, but if it is aboot Megaman X, maybe mix in some of the later ones? As for humor, if you explain it as a problem with small sprites, then Megaman would be a more appropriate butt for the joke, being that he's been enlarged to the point where all his pixels are visible . WHAT?!? Make the pixels invisible? What is wrong with you, Eco? You'd rather the comic be one big white space? That was one STUPID request.
Back on topic, nice comic, D. I've gotten the previews of the others, not half bad. Make a decent storyline, as I'm attempting to do, and BAM! Good comic. Right there.

of course theres a story line. the one you saw was to be the 3rd in the actual ones. and i think ecos KIPPERSy englsih meant to resize X so the pixels arent so big. news flash eco, X SPRITES ARE INCREDIBLY SMALL! about as small as D there in the intro thing. so sit down, shut up, and speak proper english.
anywho, cheesy, thank ye. i'll get to working on the others when i can(ie stop playing fable for a few minutes. =P)

Why does there have to be a storyline? Many of the most hilarious comics I've read have no storyline or anything close (see itisaneggpudding.50megs.com/ - especially "ween") Oh, and nice title, D. Not a huge Megaman fan, but that's a bit amusing nonetheless. |

I liked the first two panels, but then it kinda just ran into a blunt introduction of Zero, which didn't work out to well. A couple o' bonus points for the Shrek reference, but dock one off because you didn't do it like:
Ooooh I'm al alooone, there's no one here besiiiiiiiiiiide me!!!
Them repeating letters rock.
But again, the third and fourth panels are kind of blunt. But the first two: Heh.

well sorry Wdot, but i ran out of bubble and if i made it bigger i would run out of pannel space.  and i prefer to keep the comic one size unless i REALLY REALLY have to make it bigger. but if you played megaman X you will see that Zero is an integral part of the opening level. mainly cus he saves your ass from being killed by vile and his indestructable ride armor of doom. and expect more of zero and his lonely dip into insanity. also expect a certain someone as "mysterious cameo man!" thanks for the honesty though. not so much thanks as dokcing off to many points. i had to point the panel into zeros direction somehow, and X wondering where he is does the trick. and for those to blunt to notice, the darker background color signifies a place VERY far away from X's location. |
