I'm assuming Eco already has Gens, K.
In which case, there's a menu option in Gens where you can set the controls for yourself, Eco. Go to the Option menu, then Joypads... , then where it says "Player 1", click "Redefine Buttons" and you'll be able to set the controls for yourself.
I believe it defaults to A button = A, B button = S, C button = D, but I use Z, X, and C (because that was Genecyst's default), and ASD as the XYZ buttons.
