The program I've used forever (ArcSoft Photostudio) has been giving me problems.
Actually, it's always given me a certain problem, but not as often then as now.
See, after a lot of editing/cutting/pasting/saving to a picture, an image will start to darken ever so slightly, but as you progress, it will become more and more noticable.
One instance I will always remember - "Sonic 3 and Food."
That hoax involved TONS of cutting and pasting, so by the end it was VERY dark. I had to use the 'brighten' tool to make it look okay when I was done.
This has started to become more of a nuisance lately. Especially when editing sprites.
So I'm looking for a good, free program to use. One that I will still be able to use after 30 days. One that will give me the editing tools I need. (Which aren't too many) And, most importantly, ONE THAT WILL NOT DARKEN IMAGES!
Any suggestions?
