I'm running out of ways to say "more hoaxes". Yeah, there's actually someone in the obscure NES game "Destiny of an Emporer" named Ma Chao, so I, having nothing better to do, made this hoax. Before you diss it for being a cheap hoax, please take into mind that I had to recolor the Chao to look 8-bit first (using the Mega Man palette), then recolor it in the sepia tone of the other mugshots. Next, Sonic gets stuck in a series of cheap puns... here's Spleen Hill Zone. I had a few problems on the ball recolor (mostly because the dark brown in the ball happens to be the same dark brown as the darkest color in the background mountains), and there are some obvious problems on the recolor, but the spleen tube-things were relatively easy. Car-pool Zone is next up in the lineup. I forgot the name of whoever made the car, but he said to only give credit in fangames and sprite comics, and go without credit everywhere else. There was a lot of cropping and editing involved to get Tails in there, and I know Sonic is darker than he should be... blame the original ripper. I believe you can guess this is my favorite of these hoaxes... it's Cream Yard Zone. (I know "Cream" doesn't exactly rhyme with "Spring", but eh.) This went through several test versions before I was ready to add the sprites. Cream sprites made by Gabriel or Frag. Oh, and yes... SEND IN THE CLONES This is the rather akwardly-titled Jabyrinth Zone (don't get it? Knuckles is jabbing Sonic. There, don't you feel smart!). Fun Fact: I believe this is the cheapest hoax I've done in the series, mostly because it was a case of removing the Grounder that hit Sonic and adding in Knuckles. Knuckles ripped and pallete-edited by Veckles the Echidna. And to complete the set, this is Tap Drain Zone. I know that Sonic is curiously off-center, but standing on the up-down flipping platform would be too risky. Also, I know that water is gunky, but Scrap Brain is a super-mechanicized death city, so what'd you expect? I ripped the water flow and faucet from Wario Land 2 and palette-edited them. The water and background palette underwater are from Labyrinth. Before you ask, no, I did not steal this idea from whoever made Chao Advance. In fact, this hoax concept predates the date I joined SV by a long time - 5 years. This is an updated version of a shot from the original picture, which was a huge sheet full of crudely-depicted "screenshots" of the game, with labels describing them and using sprites somebody else ripped without a credit tag, thus making them my first Sonic hoaxes, ever. This is the "not too active title screen" (blanketquote from the original picture!). The neutral Chao sprite was ripped and edited by Fox Omega (I don't believe that's a pose your Chao can actually assume in-game), and the Hero and Dark Chao sprites were edited (twice) by Nash. The "CHAO" text was from Fox Omega's Chao sheet, and the "PRESS START" text is from the title screen of Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. (If you want to see the original picture and the original hoaxes, then... well, look, but it's by no means pretty. I have plans to update all of those pictures, as well as make more of them to continue the series [no, not the original, low-quality ones... the newer, higher-quality ones].) And this is the file select (the second picture updated)... not much else to say, really. If you're wondering what the levels (in the small pictures by the Chao icons) are... The only color one is the Hero Chao Cloud, the first grayed-out one is the Lapis Cave-inspired Sapphire Tunnel, and the second grayed-out one is Treetop City. The entire background is from NiDL (except for the text), the ocean in the first mini-pic is an edit from the Orange Ocean one from NiDL, the second and third ones are completely original, the mini-Chao faces were ripped/edited by Fox Omega/Nash/Nash respectively, and the Omochao (KILL IT) was made by Billy Hatcher (who isn't the video game character... then again, he could be.) By the way, the Chao face icons indicate what Chao you chose to play as in that file.

1) I'm guessing that makes it a very strong Chao. But you could've found a pic that didn't make the Chao's head not fit in the box, if that makes sense. Also, extremely thick outline that doesn't fit quite right with the other ones. 8/10.
2) Ha. Ah aha. No. The blinking Sonic was a nice touch as opposed to the normal standing sprite, but I can still see the edge of the Checkered Ball. And a HORRIBLE PUN besides. 6/10
3) Sonic is kinda off-center, but other than that, good job. 9/10
4) Heh. One of the Creams are doing this: o.o WARNING!!!! LAME PUN MAY FOLLOW!!!! Not very cheesy. *ba-dum chhhh* *crickets* Get it? 'Cause Creme's there but not Cheese. Eh. 10/10 for allowing me to do a lame pun also, and because there's nothing wrong with it.
5) Excruciatingly obvious bit-mix = T3H NO. 6/10.
6) Meh. 10/10 'cause I don't see anything wrong with it.
7) Damn. You made it look better than my Chao Advance 2 hoaxes. Unfortunately, 10/10
8) 10/10.Damn awesomeness.

If what you are saying is true, then this hoax by monty eggman isn't a sonic hoax and should not be on the site, dispite the good ratings it recieved: May 3D Blast: Fo t3h plikeyez. So, MM3DB: Not Sonic related.

Holy hoaxes, Batman! Inside joke, which I will explain. At Kirby's Rainbow Resort, there was an ability contest, where you had to make a character (other than Kirby) with an ability, such as Broom Chuchu (a second-prizer) or Paint Tiff/Fumu (depends on how you like your anime, dubbed or subbed... 9/10 of you, of course, will choose Fumu). The winner was a picture of a bunch of Waddle Dees with various abilities, and most of them were dressed up as video game characters corresponding to their ability (the Fire Waddle Dee, for example, was cosplaying as a Tonberry from the Final Fantasy series). In the middle of the pic, there was Hammer Waddle Dee, who was cosplaying as Amy, complete with Piko Piko Hammer. Inspiration immediately struck me and I got to immediate work. I think the end result is fairly nice, myself. (Plus, if you're H*R literate, you'll get the reference in the filename.) In this hoax, um... The Egg Rocket took off early, Cream is stuck on it for some reason, and Tails must save her... then again, it could be some random bug that caused Cream to pop up and the Egg Rocket to appear much higher than normal... actually, I have no idea what's going on. My mind simply wandered and came across this idea. This is your brain on boredom, kiddies... it's not pretty. The Daniel Sidney provided the sprite of Cream. Another random act of boredom results in this hoax. If you don't know what's happening, then Stinkoman (if you don't know who the heck he is, watch more H*R... or better yet, play his game) has gone Super and is running up to Angel Island, presumably to meet Tampo. I don't really know. Here, Stinkoman's at it again - he's going through Carnival Night with 1-Up. (That bar on the bottom is from the actual game, BTW - just thought you'd like to know.)

Guess what? It's a new hoax. Not a news-hoax, despite what you may think. Tails is in an old SNES game, titled SimEarth, replacing the Earth dude. If you don't know, SimEarth is a game where you make a planet and watch it mature. Kind of. I'm not much into playing it anymore, but whatever. Tails edit by Supa! (Oh, BTW, the scrambled strip along the bottom isn't in the original game. The ROM was glitchy.)

Stinkoman's in 8-bit form. D: Actually, Stinkoman (I typed Sunjinab before as I wasn't looking) has 10 colors, which is more than the NES can handle unless you have multiple sprites for each body part. (They were all in one piece on the sprite sheet.)

Stikoman's in 10-bit form D: Actually, if a sprite has more than 4 colors on it, it's 16-bit. So, what really should be said here is... "Sti nkoman's in 16-bit form " Just sayin'.
